Ok. Of course I know that this blog is a public space with the content avaiable for anyone who stumbles in. Still, it really bugs me that Clustermaps generates ads related to content. Does anyone else out there find this borederline creepy?

  5. I sent an email to the AdSense folks at Google...it'll be interesting if they respond to my questions about privacy...and pandering ads to us on our own blogs without our consent.

  6. It's all part of the cost of the "free" map.

Besides, you never know when you might need additional info about doggie wee-wee pads.

Yeah, this is a little disturbing, but not really surprising...

  8. And I just want to add that now all my adds on my map are for wedding stuff, and on my other one about passover and gefilte fish. What a relief to have resources for both those things!!

  11. Yes, it's creepy, but if you have g-mail, you see the same phenomena on the mail page. Google sends snapshots of every page you visit and "limited"content of everything you read or write to it's main computer database. Is nothing sacred?
